Cleaner respects your privacy.

Summary

Cleaner does not require an account.

Cleaner does not include third-party advertising or remote analytics.

Cleaner stores limited app data locally on your Mac to support app features.

Information Stored Locally

Cleaner may store the following on your device:

• theme preference
• cleanup history
• local app analytics
• post-run reports
• saved app settings

This information stays on your device unless you choose to export a support bundle.

Files and Folders

Cleaner accesses files only to support features you choose to use.

In the current App Store edition, Cleaner may:

• inspect and clean user-level cache locations
• inspect and clean browser cache locations
• inspect Mail attachment download files
• inspect iMessage attachment cache
• inspect Xcode Derived Data
• inspect simulator cache files
• inspect local iOS backup folders to show their size

Cleaner removes files only when you explicitly run a cleanup action.

Cleaner may also access user-selected locations if you explicitly grant access through standard macOS file selection.

System Information

Cleaner may read limited local system information to show app features such as:

• disk usage
• CPU information
• memory and swap status
• memory pressure

This information is used only inside the app and is not sent to a remote service.

Support Bundles

If you choose to export a support bundle, Cleaner may include:

• app logs
• cleanup reports
• local app analytics
• a local system snapshot

Support bundles are created only when you request them.

Notifications

If a future version of Cleaner asks for notification permission, it will be for local reminders only.

Data Sharing

Cleaner does not sell your personal data.

Cleaner does not share your local app data with third parties unless you explicitly export information yourself.

Data Retention

Locally stored app data remains on your device until:

• you remove the app
• you clear or overwrite local app data
• older history is replaced by newer in-app history
